RUNNN!!!

Day after first night with no electricity.

Didn’t sleep the best.

Headed to check out some petroglyphs and pictographs. Saw an old school house from 1896 I believe.

Decided to drive down the scenic drive which was 10 miles and should have dropped the camper off at my camping spot but decided to bring it. Dropped it off in the parking lot so hopefully it’s okay. There was no cars there so I only took up one spot.

Decided to go on a hike down the canyon. About a mile in there is a turn off to go see two tanks so I decided to go for it. It’s about 930 and I’m a little behind but figure I’m only here once. So about half a mile in I take a few awesome pictures and turn back. Almost back over one more small hill and peek my head over and my heart drops. I lock eyes with him. There stands a huge. male. big horn sheep. I hit the flight mode button and take off back to where I was. Half a heart attack later I see him take off up the mountain. That’s enough excitement for the day.

Time to head on to Bryce Canyon National Park. The drive was gorgeous through the mountains and passed a small wildfire. I got lost trying to outsmart the gps so lesson learned if it says it’s less miles but is going to take a lot longer it’s probably a gravel road. 😂 trial and error and that was a fail but I just laughed and kept on going.

As we pull into the town Bryce I find a RV place that’s pretty cheap and has access to showers and a laundromat. Thank the lord I need both really bad lol so I park and hook up electric. Off to Bryce Canyon I go to get in a night hike.

The hike ended up being around 3.5 miles and was just spectacular.

I somehow ended up getting back to the top perfectly at sunset. I say there in awe (legs burning of course after the hike). I took in the moment and started writing like usual.

Time to enjoy a movie in my camper. Write in my journal. Make a few posts. Enjoy the quiet. Make plans for tomorrow.

Until next time my friends,
