A complete bust of a day…or not
Today I learned how to be better at thought stopping and reframing negative thoughts into positive ones. Had to bring the car in to get the brakes checked out and waited for awhile for them to look at it but ended up having a pretty good conversation with one of the locals in grand junction. We talked about life and other places that might be good for me to settle down in.
You just never know what’ll happen if you stop and enjoy the moment. Enjoy the negatives enjoy the positives and all the things in between. Life is just a crazy game we play or a ride we are along for.
It snowed/ freezing slushed all day so it was mostly spent checking out some stores around town. Around 4oclock though I had a small window and I took it. I found a nearby hike that was short but the views looked gorgeous. Off we went. Hiked up a cool area that showed me amazing views with some snowflakes to top it off.
It was a battle inside my head. My mind was telling me ohh it’s fine it’s a crappy day just sit inside and watch tv or whatever but I tried to overpower it and I won. Each day is a mental battle that we can all win. David Goggins says it best. If you’ve never followed him check him out. He will help you over power your own mind.
Won’t be able to upload this tonight because I don’t have very good service. It’s kind of nice being off grid or at least disconnected from the internet. I just get to write at night and it makes for a peaceful night. Get a chance to enjoy the crisp cold air of the mountains and the clear skies. Mind drifting off into the vastness off space. Thoughts running wild. It’s okay to let the mind run wild sometimes.
Until next time my friends,
Support the intended
