“The worst thing to ever happen to me wasn’t the worst thing to happen to me…hating myself for it was.”- Andrea Gibson-

Woke up dead tired…mentally and physically . Decided it’s time to add some things to the camper/set-up. Did some shopping and got some things to upgrade the camper.

Headed back. Did the things I needed to do at a campsite like laundry, shower, fill waters and all that fun stuff. Now it’s time to find camping near Yosemite.

What. The. Heck. Apparently Cali is horrible for having free camping options. I thought with all the National forest land it would be great but the fires and covid shut down most of the sites. I decide to just head that way and hopefully something shows up. Multiple phone calls later nothing pops up so I look at my Campendium app again. I see one free overnight parking option close to me. It’s at a casino! Oh great, just what I need next is to blow some money. 😂

Well, I just have to say that I have never seen such crazy fluctuations in gas prices in my life. Neighboring gas stations could be over $1 difference in price. One I saw was $3.89 and the next was $2.79. It’s crazy. I use another app called gas buddy to help me out there.

I filled up at a close one that was cheaper and off I go to the casino. A landscaper is close so I asked him where to park and he says anywhere so I back on in. Reorganize the camper and relax for the night.

Start the generator. Eat some leftovers. Check out the stars. Relax and hopefully fall asleep early. Goodnight.

Until next time my friends,
